The Office Depot Foundation is helping to make the day just a little bit better for teachers through its A Day Made Better Program! Office Depot and OfficeMax store associates are visiting Title 1 and other high-need elementary schools across the United States to donate school supplies and other essential items, children’s books and treats for the teachers. We’re pleased to share these photos from A Day Made Better presentations in local communities.

Office Depot Store 2611, Albuquerque, NM
The team from Office Depot Store 2611 in Albuquerque, NM, paid a visit to EG Ross Elementary School to make their presentation. Principal Amanda Stavig (in the green sweater) accepted the donations from Store Manager Brian Pierson (directly behind her) and his Office Depot colleagues. In addition to the school supplies, children’s books and other A Day Made Better items, they provided Teacher Appreciation bags with donations from local partners, including Chick-Fil-A, Texas Roadhouse, Subway, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and eVOLVE Fitness. Subway catered the event.
Office Depot Legal Department, Boise, ID
A group of associates from Office Depot’s Legal Department based in Boise, ID, visited Taft Elementary School to make their A Day Made Better presentation. The team presented to about 25 teachers and staff at an after-school staff meeting. Jeff Neumeyer spoke to the group to thank them for their dedication to teaching and inspiring the children at Taft Elementary, a National Blue Ribbon School whose 350+ studen come from many different countries and speak 14 languages.

Associates from Office Depot’s corporate office in Naperville, IL, helped to make the day just a little bit better for Hermes Elementary School. “The special attention we give the community makes me proud to work for this organization,” noted Patricia Abrego-Santucci, Vice President of Compensation. Along with school supplies, children’s books and other A Day Made Better items, Hermes Elementary received a $1,000 donation from the Office Depot Foundation.
